Personal || Trust

School has started up again... for the VERY LAST TIME! and quite honestly, the reality of being a college graduate in just 7 short weeks hasn't quite sunk in yet! The future is super exciting and full of adventure and mystery, but I'll admit it seems slightly daunting as I'm not exactly sure what's all in store. But I'm mostly excited!

This morning as I was browsing the assignments and announcements for this weeks classes, I noticed a quote one of my professors had posted. I had sort of read it and continued scrolling down, but then I realized what it actually said so I stopped and read it again. Sometimes you have to read things more than once for them to sink in. The quote read,

 "Obedience to God is not a matter of seeing the whole path - only the next step."

This quote resonates SO much with what I've been learning recently in a couple different areas of my life. I don't need to know everything about everything that happens in my life. Each thing happens for a reason and if God chooses to teach me a lesson of trust through that instead of letting me know why, at least for that moment, then I need to be obedient by believing that God's got everything under control. That's what trust is. A confidence in someone or something when you can't see past the moment.

I'm not much of a writer, but I felt this was something I should share today, and if even one person is encouraged, it will be worth it. Besides, this blog is getting a little rusty and in need of some love and care! As the season has changed, and the weather will be getting warmer soon, I am so looking forward to this new season of business and the wonderful people I look forward to meeting and working with!
