Claire || Senior Portraits

this is Claire

it took me a year to get these up on the blog, so by now, this girl is getting ready to transfer colleges soon to continue her career in the medical field.

so gorgeous! I don't really ever remember seeing Claire without a smile on her face.

not only is she super pretty, AND smart, but she's also a certified EMT!

and she's a whole lot of other wonderful things too. :) She's like a little sister to me, and we don't get to see each other often, but we always have a blast when we're together.

Their whole family is amazing and I also did her older sister's senior portraits way back when!

We went to a couple different locations for her pictures, and the one below is on this beautiful farm in the suburbs. There were so many pretty spots, it was hard to decide where to pick! I loved this little line of trees.

I think if you looked in the dictionary for the definition of 'cute', you'd find her picture right there!

Happy Fall Y'all! ;)

Claire, I was so blessed to take your senior pictures and it's been great watching you grow up and be such a hard-working, and talented young woman.

Run after God and I promise you won't be disappointed. Go take on every new challenge that comes your way with all the charm and energy you have. You are awesome, girly!

Aelsa || Senior Portraits

There's this beautifully gorgeous friend of mine who just graduated high school this year, and I was so excited to be able to take some portraits of her last fall. She also happens to be a very excellent and talented musician so of course we had to incorporate her instrument!

Mhm, I told you she was gorgeous!

She told me about this national park and since it's only an hour away, we of couuuurrrrse took the opportunity! There was this amazing bridge and then below was an extremely steep rocky slope with a pretty little waterfall.

Isn't this epic???

Which one should I choose?

Then we climbed down and explored underneath the bridge and beyond. It was so beautiful and the fall colors really gave an extra flair of beauty.

She's also a very thoughtful friend. This past school year was crazy busy for the both of us, but  she's such an encourager and sent me sweet little notes here and there. Oh, and if you ever need a violin teacher, she's your lady... my little sister takes from her and from what I've observed, she's such a patient and fun teacher. So if you live near here and you feel like taking up the violin, do iiiiiiit...or if you know of someone who needs a teacher, tell them about her! :)

Thanks, Aelsa, for allowing me the privilege of taking your senior portraits. This is a big time of transition in your life and I'm excited to see what lies ahead for you. You have been and will continue to do really great things and I know the Lord is already using you in many powerful ways for His kingdom.

High School Senior | Jon

This post is finally done! It's hard to believe I'm posting my brother Jon's high school senior portraits! Time sure goes by faster when you get older! There is so much I could write about him, but I'm no writer. Words don't find their way out of my head and onto paper like I wish. The brothers and sisters I have are all so special to me. Each one is so different from the other... but before I ramble on any further, here are some of my favorites of Jon :)

Jon is an extremely fun guy and has a great personality. He's such a joy to be around and loves to goof off, but he also has a serious side and a great imagination.

Like I said, he's a goof ;)

He loves film-making and his music. You will often find him listening to some sort of music. and he's pretty smart too.

He has a heart for the Lord and isn't afraid of what others think of him. He's confident, full of life, and I have a feeling he may be famous someday. ;) and he's a true gentleman.

I could go on about how talented and great my brother is, but I'll end by saying that he is one of my best friends and I am so proud of the man he is becoming. "OH the places you'll go" Jon! Love you! To see the rest of Jon's pictures, click here!
